Terms of Service
Last updated: April 24, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AUTHority (the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. Service overview
AUTHority provides a control plane for authenticated WebSocket gateway sessions. Depending on your plan, the Service can include project management, app auth keys, connection controls, analytics, and (for eligible tiers) outbound HTTP proxy features over authenticated WebSocket sessions.
3. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials confidential.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep contact details current so we can provide security and service notices.
- You are responsible for securing your integration secrets, app auth keys, and session tokens in your own systems.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate law, regulation, third-party rights, or contract obligations.
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, overload, or circumvent Service security, rate limits, or access controls.
- Transmit malicious code, abuse network resources, or conduct unauthorized scanning or attacks.
- Use the Service for prohibited content or activity under applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, including activity that creates legal, security, or operational risk.
5. Plans, billing, and limits
Feature availability and usage limits depend on your selected plan and may include limits on projects, concurrent WebSocket connections, and request quotas. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to your billing settings. Taxes may apply.
Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable after the applicable billing period begins. We may update pricing or plan terms with advance notice.
6. Customer data and responsibilities
You retain responsibility for data and requests you send through the Service, including ensuring you have rights and lawful basis to process personal data. You are responsible for configuring your integrations, allowed domains, and downstream APIs safely.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, improve, or discontinue features, including plan packaging, to maintain and evolve the Service.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, legal requirements, non-payment, or security risk. Certain provisions (including payment, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms) survive termination.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, AUTHority disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction specified by AUTHority. Venue and dispute process details should be updated when your legal entity and governing jurisdiction are finalized.
